About.

Lōemis (pron. lew-mis) is an annual arts festival that takes place in locations around Wellington. We have a focus on staging new works that are fantastical, mystical and transformative. The festival occurs around the time of the winter solstice, Maruaroa o Takurua, and usually precedes Puanga and Matariki.

Lōemis festival began in 2016. See below for past events and imagery.
