Rebecca Garland, author of New Zealand Backcountry Cooking, leads a hands-on introduction to cooking in the outdoors. Whether you’re an experienced adventurer or just starting out, you won’t want to miss this informative and delicious event.
During this two hour workshop we will cover trip planning, what to bring and how to pack it; simple, quick meals through to gourmet options for weekend trips; and various types of cooking methods and equipment.
Plus, the best part – you’ll get to eat everything we prepare. Very basic utensils are provided, however we encourage you to bring your favourite cups, plates and cutlery with you.
