Hope St Radio

Hope St Radio head over to Aotearoa for their NZ debut! Puffin will be transformed into a live radio studio, wine lounge, noshery and dance floor for the final festival weekend, June 18th - 21st.

Entry will be first in first served each day. Come sample a dance floor snack, a glass of wine, and immerse yourselves in the weird and wonderful sounds curated by Hope St. Radio pop-up in collaboration with Puffin and Lōemis.

About Hope St Radio

Established in 2017, Hope St Radio began as a transient online radio station, using various Naarm (Melbourne) locations as a live broadcast studio. In 2018 Hope St Radio was nominated for Best New Online Radio station, and Best Online Radio Station in Asia/Pacific, in the Mixcloud Global Radio Awards.

They set down roots in the Collingwood Yards in 2021, in the form of a vibrant restaurant and wine bar and were soon shortlisted in the Eat Drink Design Awards in both Bar & Restaurant categories.

The Good Food Guide describes their food as an “archetypal mamas embrace that holds you at arm's length to appreciate you, pulls you in for a huge squeeze, then steps back again to check you're really this beautiful.” 

The Age Good Food Guide awarded Hope St Radio a coveted “chefs hat”, and their bar was also judged the “third coolest bar in the world” by Timeout Magazine. They received a Critics Choice award in the 2025 Good Food Guide.. and now they’ll be here in Wellington!
